The jury plays a fundamental role in the Ustories project, through the reading of each screenplay and the participation at the final public presentation. The jury will then select the winning couple, who will be rewarded with a Production Prize consisting of 15.000 euro.

Stefano Rulli (screenwriter of La meglio gioventù, Romanzo criminale, Suburra, Mio fratello è figlio unico) presides over the jury that includes important names of the contemporary Italian cinema, such as Laura Samani (director of Piccolo Corpo and La santa che dorme), Mary Stella Brugiati (screenwriter of Anni da Cane and the tv serie Extravergine), Roberto di Tanna (film editor of Era Ora, La stanza, La profezia dell’armadillo and the serie Christian) and a special juror from the visual arts, Elisa Veschini, who is the vice president of the Beverly Pepper Foundation. Thanks to their opinion and to their participation during the cinematographic residency, with masterclass and panels, they will guide the young professionals in a complex path, choosing the couple who will move to the second residency step for the production of a short film.
